History

The Churches of Christ originated in the United States in the 19th century. The movement sought to unify all Christians in a single body.

Worship

Worship includes reading scripture, preaching, singing hymns, prayer, and observing the Lord’s Supper. Congregations may also meet for Bible study.

Unique

Baptism by immersion is required for salvation. Musical instruments are not used in worship. Bible study is done congregationally and at home.

Our Vision

  • To worship God in spirit and truth (John 4:24).

  • Show godly love to all people, whether or not they are Christians (Romans 13:8-10).

Our Mission

  • Preach the gospel (Mark 16:15).
  • Disciple believers (Matthew 28:19).
  • Promote scriptural holiness (Hebrews 12;14).
  • Help the vulnerable (James 1:27).
  • Celebrate God’s reign (Revelation 15:3-4).
